04.05.2006 | Compete to win Commodore Prize packs!

Commodore Gaming and the connected gaming technology provider, Gamefederation have teamed up to develop and distribute connected mobile games and applications being demonstrated in a unique promotion at the E3 Games Convention being held in Los Angeles from May 10 - May 12.

    Free Connected Games

All visitors who pass by the Gamefederation booth (2352, West Hall) will be offered free connected mobile games via the Bluetooth enabled Commodore Gaming Tower.  In addition to receiving free games, everyone uploading their score from any of the games will get the chance to win Commodore prize packages including a retro Commodore joystick pre-loaded with 30 of the greatest Commodore hits such as California Games, Summer Games, Impossible Mission and Last Ninja. The current leaderboards will be presented continuously on the Gaming Tower as well as on both Commodore’s and Gamefederation’s web sites.

    Connected Features

"Connected functionality is at the heart of our vision to bring mobile games into the mass market", stated Bala Keilman, CEO of Commodore Gaming.  "Gamers are able to interact in simple but entertaining ways, to build communities, share scores and compete against each other to win prizes. Equally important is the opportunity we have to create a direct relationship with each of our customers through which we can offer personalized interactive services and features such as ‘try-before-you buy’, sharing and ‘buy-for-a-friend’."

    Bluetooth Gaming Towers

Commodore Gaming is launching touch screen Gaming Towers throughout Europe during 2006, which are designed to deliver digital entertainment content such as games, video and music directly onto mobile phones and handheld devices in a retail environment.  "Gamefederation is the world leader in connected mobile services and they share our vision of making mobile games more accessible and captivating for the mass audience of mobile phone users" explained Bala Keilman.

Thomas Lindgren, founder and Sales Director at Gamefederation says "Commodore Gaming has shown that they understand the business models of the future for mobile entertainment, both through their innovative and user friendly media towers but also their focus on ensuring that they always have a way of communicating with their consumers – through connected mobile applications.
