Play vintage C64 games here to relive old gaming experiences or get acquainted with games that were available for the most popular home computer of all time. Select a game by clicking on its screen at the right side of the page, select stick 1 or stick 2 and start playing!

First of all, be careful not to take onscreen instructions that have to do with buttons too literally: These are the instructions of the original titles that include references to buttons for the Commodore 64 and its joystick. Meaning, if the words 'Press F1 to begin' appear, don't reach for the F1 button on your keyboard, but press the 0 button on your numerical pad, instead. F1 stands for Fire 1.

 

Ignore keyboard instructions like 'L = left, ; = right' as well. All controls are relocated to the numerical pad, that serves as a C64 joystick.* Be sure to have your Num Lock on!

8 = Up

2 = Down

4 = Left

6 = Right

0 = F1

Pause/Break = RunStop

* The game Icicle Works deviates from this control setup. Press the space bar to start, P to go up, L to go down, A to go left and S to go right.
